Williams Horizontal Milling Machine. Made in Brantford in the 1940’s. Machine doesn’t appear to have had much use, ways are not very worn. Takes 40 Taper tooling and the drawbar it has works with both CAT40 and NMBT40 toolholders. It has a 2hp motor that was rewound for 220/240v 3 Phase and rebuilt with new bearings 2 years ago. X axis has the original rack and pinion feed as well as a leadscrew that can be disengaged that a previous owner added. Way are smooth and there are levers for locking each axis. Head moves up and down with rack and pinion feed as well. I have some tooling I will include with it: The original 1” arbor for use with the overarm support, a 1” stub arbor, 1” and 1-1/4” endmill holders, an ER32 collet holder, a MT3 drill sleeve and a 3/4” capacity Jacobs drill chuck. I can include the 5” milling vice for an extra $100. Asking $800 for everything else. I have an engine hoist to load it on a trailer for you. I can also send videos of it running. I don’t have room to keep this since I want to get another mill, otherwise I would.
