My wife and I have been looking at houses for the past few years and unfortunately have come to the conclusion that the housing market is beyond our reach. I am a 44 year old self employed man and my wife is a 41 year old self employed yoga teacher. Both non smokers We are looking for a small piece of land somewhere within the Niagara Region to park our tiny home. We do not need any services however we would gladly pay if that were an option. The home we are looking to buy would be self contained .Solar system and small generator for power. Fresh water tanks ,composting toilet and a small professionally installed wood stove. We are at the beginning stages of our search and are most certainly open to suggestions Ideally on a farm or large property. We would glad help maintain the entire property as well as helping in any other way we could. This may be ideal from Seniors that wish to continue living in the country and could use some help. We would of course be paying a monthly rent on top of the help around the property. We would likely only stay in the tiny home from November through May as we stay on our boat during the warmer season however would like to store the home where it sits year round.
