Suicide is consistently a leading cause of death among Albertans, and claims more lives annually than vehicle collisions and homicides.

In Edmonton alone, 11 people a day attempt or die by suicide. This number is too high and speaks volumes to the lack of supports and help when it comes to mental health.

We are beginning the journey to create a suicide prevention house to serve Edmonton and the surrounding areas. A safe place for those who have already tried the traditional routes of suicide prevention and need more help than is currently available.

We are seeking a land donation in or around Edmonton to build the prevention house and accompanying garden.
