This 1965 Factory-Five Mk1 Cobra replica was completed by a certified factory five associated builder in the USA in 2000 before it made its way to Alberta. The powertrain separates this car from most as it's running a Ford Racing 5.0L crate engine topped with a Vortech V2 Supercharger producing 441 HP. Power runs through a Ford T5 5-speed manual into a Ford 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears. The fibreglass body is attached to a custom tubular steel chassis. The power to weight ratio is impressive as this car clocks in at approx. 2,200lbs dry weight. It is a very authentic build, with such nice touches as a Cobra wood steering wheel, correct 4 point Simpson racing harnesses, and Shelby Halibrand style aluminum wheels. The quality of this build is very impressive. Recent fuel injection upgrade to Holley sniper system plus a new radiator. Too much power for me lol.
