CS27 sailboat 'Slipstream' for sale – in Hamilton (Harbour West):

An excellent well maintained sailboat with the following details:

Slipstream is a sailing vessel, sloop rigged, aft cockpit, with hull lines typical of a vessel of mid-70's. Designed by Raymond Wall. It has a raked bow, with a generous beam. Reasonably high topsides, short overhangs and a wide transom. CS Yaghts (Canadian Sailcraft) built approximately 480 of these boats between 1975 and 1983.

Colouring is a blue hull with white waterline and cove stripe, and a while deck. The keel has a slightly sloped leading edge formed against the hull and properly faired. A short SS shaft exits on-centre and held by a small skeg. The shaft is fitted with a 13 X 8RH Martec prop.

On deck, a full bow pulpit is connected to a stern pulpit with a double vinyl covered lifelines and a gate at the cockpit on either side. The normal assortment of deck gear and winches are mounted on the cabin top and cockpit. A tiller and transom mounted rudder finished the deck.

Below decks, from bow to stern, is mainly an open layout. An anchor locker is at the bow, with a V-berth forward and storage lockers below the berth. An enclosed head to port and locker opposite follows. A settee with table is to port opposite a starboard bench. Each has upper and lower storage behind and below each berth. An aft U-shaped galley is aft containing an ice locker, SS stove, and SS sink. Storage surrounds for utensils, dishes, cooking pots etc.

Engine power is supplied by a Yanmar 1GM diesel fueled inboard, nominally rated at 6.5 hp. The ship's electrical power is supplied by two 12 volt batteries located aft in the main salon on the starboard side. The batteries are wired to a Perko battery switch allowing for the selection of battery 1,2 or both to be used. There are 7 DC circuits, each with its own switch and breaker.

Vessel carries an Inter Marine SR301 VHF, The Danforth direct read compass was mounted on the aft end of the cabin trunk, Navigation lights are in their proper position

Survey was completed along with a Transport Canada Courtesy check was in 2018 and current seasonal storage and slip is at Harbourwest Marina.
