Profitable Butcher Shop with proven record - $180,000 (Downtown West End)
Hello, we're looking to go into retirement, having owned this business for the past 18 years. My father turned 66 and is looking to retire in a different city.
Our store, Robson Gourmet Butcher has been in the Robson Public Market since 1987, and we have owned it since 2005. The store is a nice and easy business to pick up. It does require a constant amount of work, but all procedures have been thought of, and we're ready to teach you. We have partnered with 2 delivery companies in the area that enrich our customer base: DoorDash, and SkipTheDishes.
Our operating space is 1000 sqft, lease of $3800 for the next 3 years. The storefront is a series of 6 display cases, totaling 30' of display space. The coolers for the front are located under the display cases, keeping a constant temperature between 0 and 3 degrees. The back cooler is a walk-in cooler of 22' x 11', with 4 large chest freezers.
Equipment: Slicer, Bandsaw, Grinder, Knives, Butcher mallets, Scrapers, Cutting tables and boards, and a multitude of trays.
Hours of Operation: Mon-Sat - 10:30 am - 8:30 pm, Sun - 10:30 am - 7:30 pm (14 work hours per day Opener (10:30-7 pm) and Closer (3-8:30 pm))
Business Licenses, inspections, and all accounting needs are up to date.
There's a variant of renting out the business for the right people, preferably a family of 2-3. Please inquire.
The sale price includes a 1 month's training period and 1 year's worth of spreadsheeting for your bookkeeping needs.
All financial information is present and ready to be discussed. We're looking to retire by the summer, the earlier the better.
