Tried selling last year, but couldn’t do it, enjoyed it for the summer instead. But life is changing big time, baby on the way. This time I can’t change my mind. So... my 99 Supercharged E36 M3 Convertible is going up for sale. I never thought I’d sell it as I had a couple items left to do to make it as perfect as can be. So my price would allow for these improvements I always wanted to do. I’ve owned it for 10 years now, time to let someone else enjoy it, hopefully as much as I did. Details are: •Authentic 1999 M3 blk on blk 5spd (originally from Texas.) Been on since 2007. Installed by Alex at Velocity Motorsports in Edmonton. If you know Alex, you know his workmanship! •About 135k kms. Swapped Canadian cluster in for U.S. mileage. I hated the small print km read out, especially at speed. I have a video of the change over...somewhere. But I’ll get Motorwerkes to read the ECU to be 100% sure. I won’t risk guessing. •Leather is in great shape! No rips! Not really worn either. Maybe a touch dry in the usual spots. •Full load except tilt and cruise. (Howerever, I have those parts included.) Just never for around to installing. •OEM wind deflector. •Always maintained and spared no expense on maintenance at Motorwerkes. Mods: •VF Engineering supercharger. 5 or 6lbs. Dyno’d one pull was 277 another was just over 300 at the wheels (we tweeked something during the session). Have paperwork and video. VF now offers larger injectors and the ability to live tune. Estimating 330ish at the wheels. •H&R Bilstein suspension. Super stiff! •DPE custom wheels. 19x9 and 19x10. Perfect look, IMO!!No rubbing!! • Ireland engineering exhaust, pretty sure?( been so long). Nice tone, not too loud. •Cross drilled rotors •Euro glass headlights with HID. •Alpine BT head unit. Factory HK system with sub. •Alpine alarm with radar, 2 stage warning, LED status/control screen, complete one button auto close and latch roof. Extra parts: •Tilt column and cruise stalk •Spare ECU •Full size Spare OEM 17” •OEM radio and alarm The ‘to do’ list: •Power steering sweat, minor and common. •Rub mark on drivers door, hit and run. Not dented. •Slight rust spot on rear bumper under trunk opening. (Previous owner drove it a couple winters in Edmonton...I don’t know how or why!?!) •Interior roof liner needs attention at the b-pillars. Roof still works perfectly! Wish List: •Larger injectors and a new tune. ( this tune is fine, just more power) •Paint attention. Polish or repaint to make absolutely perfect. •That’s it! Love this car. Easy to drive, maintain and cheap to insure!! Drove it maybe 4-5k kms a year for fun. As most would know, who know E36’s... only made in 98 & 99 and only in the U.S. for North America. Super rare as only 2252 manuals were made for NA. 4017 were made in auto for NA. Price will only go up. Or at least stay the same if you take care of it. Side note, Hagerty’s collectors insurance valued it at over $20k, without an appraisal, and under $300 a year!! Check out the pics. Inquire if serious.
