This 1978 mk I boat is in good condition and only needs a new owner to make the most of her. Blue Moon has her own private mooring in Browning Bay on Pender Island this is also part of the sale. I will sell separately however the boat has to go first. A recent survey was done in April 2019 (pictures of previous survey), she got a new prop, new exhaust hoses, bottom paint, halyard sheaves, running rigging and an oil change. The boat is winterized so it will take an hour or so to get her up and running but all systems are working and in order. Equipment included: M25 diesel engine Electric and manual bilge pumps 2 sails main and jib 2 house batteries (good) and 1 start battery (poor condition) Sig Marine fireplace Inflatable dingy and 6hp motor Fenders, life vests, tools and spares Dishes, utensils and various Mooring ball with 3/4" chain and a 4000lb concrete block-suitable for a much bigger boat! She needs a new starting battery and a good clean but then you will have a great little boat for holidays (I commuted back and forth to Edmonton 5 times a year. Blue Moon was my summer cottage on the ocean! There is no additional cost to moore the boat where she is) Standing rigging will need attention over the next few years. The electrical system all works however the wiring is a bit of a mess. If you have the means it would be a nice winter project to straighten that all out but not necessary. I am in Campbell River however I can arrange a viewing as required.
