NOTE: I am a smoker and the car has been smoked in. I don’t notice an odour but others have commented that it smells like smoke. If you are a non-smoker and you find the smell unpleasant the car will have to be taken to an auto detailer who has an ozone generator as this will remove the smell. I have reduced the price of the car to account for having this service completed.

Selling my 2022 Honda Pilot Trailsport AWD with 5,500 original kms as I can obtain a good deal on a Lexus. 2022 is the only year of this body style with the Trailsport trim and the first year that the Sonic Grey Pearl (bluish grey) exterior colour was offered. The interior is black leather with orange stitching. The car handles and drives beautifully and provides ample cargo space, especially with the second and third row seats folded down flat. As few of these vehicles were manufactured (due to the microchip shortage) there are limited Pilot Trailsports available, especially in this colour.

The car has a 3.5 litre V6 engine and a 9 speed automatic transmission that can also be shifted manually. You can also adjust the transmission settings between normal, snow, mud or sand. 2 years or 54,500 kms of the Honda bumper to bumper warranty and roadside assistance are included as are the original 18” Firestone all-season tires on Trailsport exclusive black alloy rims. Another Trailsport exclusive is the height of the vehicle, it sits 1” higher than the other Pilot trims. The car is in excellent condition with no accidents, rust, dents or scratches except for a very small scratch on the plastic rear bumper and it has been touched up. Mechanically it is just like it was when it rolled off of the assembly line and all features work as they should. The car has not been modified in any way, it is completely stock. It was rustproofed by Krown a few days after I bought it (April 2022) and it was just rustproofed by Krown again in April 2023. It also had its first oil change last month.

Features include power steering, brakes, mirrors, tailgate, front seats, sunroof, windows and doors. It also has dual climate control as well as separate controls for the second row seats. Push button start, keyless entry, an alarm, memory driver’s seat settings for 2 people, adaptive cruise control, Honda lane watch, lane keeping assist, collision mitigation and avoidance, traction control, stability control, fog lights, heated side mirrors, roof rails, backup camera with 3 viewing options, remote starter, windshield de-icer, custom tinted windows, heated first and second row seats, heated steering wheel, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, navigation, a built-in hard drive to store your music, numerous USB, MP3, 12 volt and AUX jacks, wireless phone charging pad, numerous cup holders, sunglasses compartment, programmable automatic garage door opener, factory summer and winter floor mats, the original owner’s manual and touch up primer, paint and clear coat are also included. There are 3 rows of seats with 2 seats in each of the first and third rows and 3 seats in the second row.

The asking price of $52,000 certified is very firm and not negotiable due to the very low kms and limited availability of this vehicle (I could not find one in Ottawa so I had to travel out of town and pay a premium price to purchase it). I’m quite fond of this car and am testing the waters to see if I can get my price. If not I will be keeping the car.
