The Hino 358 has been optimized for heavy duty service. A 13,200 lb. front axle, 23,000 lb. rear axle, combined with a standard 120,000 psi heavy duty frame and standard driver-controlled locking rear differential makes the Hino 358 ideal for delivering heavy loads where maximum frame strength and traction are required. The standard full air, S-cam type drum braking system provides reliable and effective braking.

The 358 is powered by Hino's 260 hp, 7.7L 6-cylinder, turbocharged, diesel engine with 660 lb.-ft. of torque and is available with a heavy-duty Allison 3000RDS 6-speed automatic transmission with PTO capability. The 358 is offered with spring or Hendrickson rear air suspensions.
