2008 International RE School Bus $14,000

2008 International Rear-Engine flat-nose school bus, 40ft long, diesel DT466 engine with air brakes and Allison automatic transmission. Some International Maxxforce engines from 2011-2014 were notorious for exhaust system issues, but this is not one of those.

Odometer reads 121,000kms. We’ve put in brand new batteries, did a full inspection, replaced the transmission keypad and fixed a leaky sight-glass for the coolant levels. This bus is truly a beauty; it lived its whole life in dry Kelowna so there’s not much rust on the body, including underneath.

The tires are new, and it’s one of those coveted high ceiling buses at 6’5”. We’ve taken out the seats and subfloor down to the metal. Reason for selling is that other life projects have taken precedence over this skoolie project. Sad to see it go, but hope someone makes an awesome RV out of it!
