I am selling a 2006 Hyundai Elantra GL as is for parts. Unfortunately, the car will not pass a safety unless repairs are done on the passenger side C-channel (frame rail). The rear cross member detached on the passenger side and would need to be fixed as well (pictured above). Other than that, there is quarter panel rust and a small exhaust leak that's patchable. A new motor and switch were put into the back passenger window, but it won't go back up for some reason.

Mechanically, this car is in good condition. No major problems with the engine (burns oil, but minimally...I use just under a quart to top up after 3000 km) or transmission, which I believe was designed by Mitsubishi, old Nissan (when they were good) for the transmission. Quite a peppy little devil, thanks to the gearing ratio...2.84 for the first gear. Pretty good on gas too. Includes winter tires on rims. Summer tires (purchased March 2022 at 152,000 km) need new fronts as the front left got prematurely worn from a ball joint issue that started in Sept 2023 (see maintenance below). Tires were also rotated regularly. Due to the aforementioned body issue and frame rail rust, I've parked it and switched to daily driving my other vehicle.

I have a brand new SKF timing belt kit from Rock Auto for the engine included, and brand new rear sway bar links and tie rod ends, also included. Can also include an Android Auto unit I purchased in June 2022, with a Scosche wiring harness attached.
