Selling a 1967 Corvette race car. This car will doeasy 9's on gas all day long, and get into the 8's with a shot of nitrous. Body is all original Corvette OEM GM body. Inner fenders obviously removed and rear floor tubbed. I have another piece of floor if someone wants to put back to stock. Car has original dash frame, original birdcage and windshield frame, original untouched Z-bar with factory vin tag and trim tag. Original color was yellow, with black interior. Passenger seat is not bolted in as usually that is where the NOS bottle goes. Was record holder in Detroit for a few years in the 90's. Cage inside car professionally built as well as frame, no issues passing inspection ever. Frame underneath main tub is stock frame that came with car. Front is custom subframe with all Strange Engineering suspension, many thousands of dollars spent on front suspension and brakes. Rear is a vintage Buick/Olds Rear end, super strong and able to handle the huge horsepower no problem. Engine is a 454 GM engine, bored to 468, with 12:1 pistons, forged aluminum pistons, moly rings, and a 950 Holley Carb. Over $25,000 went into the engine alone. Also have cam specs and other specs for those interested. Would not take much to get it streetable for a street strip car, or keep as drag car. Original 67 bodies alone are going for $25-$30k for guys doing restomods, sell chassis and drivetrain after buying and have a free body! Couldn't build this car for under $100,000, get it while you can!
